Hirst Magnetic Instruments Ltd, is pleased to announce an extension to the range of its award-winning Pulsed Field Magnetometer (PFM) products. New user changeable high sensitivity pick up coils (PUC) allow a PFM customer to buy a generation eight PFM for a larger sample size and either at the time or later purchase an upgrade kit to measure smaller samples down to 1x1x1m often used in selective grain boundary diffusion (GBD) magnet development. This option is currently available on both the PFM08-10 and PFM08-40 machines. Both of which now have small sample capability down to 1x1x1mm samples via this optional upgrade.
