Magnetic Horizons 2026

Hirst is attending Magnetic Horizons 2026, a new two-day event taking place in February 2026 in Birmingham. Delivered in collaboration with the Rare Earth Industry Association (REIA) and the UK Institute of Physics Magnetism Group, this event is designed to bring together the magnetics community across industry and academia and everything else in-between. In addition, Hirst will be giving a talk onContinue reading “Magnetic Horizons 2026”

2025 KMS Winter Conference

Hirst is proud to be attending the 2025 Korean Magnetics Society (KMS) Winter Conference from November 26-28th 2025. In addition, Hirst will be giving a talk on using its award winning Pulsed Field Magnetometer (PFMs) to measure initial magnetisation curves of high coercivity rare earth permanent magnets.

MMM 2025, Palm Beach, USA

Hirst is proud to be exhibiting at The 70th Annual Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (MMM25), held at the Palm Beach Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA from October 27-31, 2025. In addition Hirst will be presenting a poster on using its award winning Pulsed Field Magnetometer (PFMs) to measure initial magnetisationContinue reading “MMM 2025, Palm Beach, USA”

New 3 axis bench top gaussmeter added to the range

The GM93B gaussmeter connects to a Windows PC or battery powered laptop and comes with a powerful visualisation and logging software package, HirstMagLab v1.  The GM93B gaussmeter simultaneously measures the three component axes of the magnetic field, allowing for an accurate reading of field intensity, regardless of how the probe is held. An optional probe mountContinue reading “New 3 axis bench top gaussmeter added to the range”
