Hirst Magnetic Instruments joined a cohort of current and former Institute of Physics business award winners being brought to Royal attention at the Physics Powering the Green Economy reception. This event was held at the Institute of Physics on February 8th and Dr James McKenzie was honoured to introduce Hirst’s PFM technology to HRH Prince Edward, The Duke of Edinburgh, KG, GCVO, as well as to a range of esteemed members and guests of the Institute. Hirst won an IOP Business Innovation Award in 2020 for its pioneering PFM technology. Physics Powering the Green Economy is an IOP flagship impact project, highlighting how physics has enabled the green economy of today and will continue to do so in the future.
