Permeameter/Hysterysisgraph

Hirst can manufacture permeameter systems for measuring magnets via the old Permeameter process of using a steel/iron flux path to keep the magnet in a closed circuit configuration while measuring.

This technique has been widely used since the 1950s and although it has its uses its simply unable to measure some of the modern high grade NdFeB and SmCo magnets that are common today. if you are looking for a machine to measure all NdFeB magnets including at and below room temp then please consider the pulse field magnetometers.

Hirst are still able to manufacture Permeameter systems if required and combined with our IFM06 integrating fluxmeters for H and H measurement it is useful addition to any magnetics laboratory.
